A popular getaway destination

The Bathing Lake Ried which stretches about 2.5 hectares is scenically nestled in the valley. Surrounded by lush meadows and green forests, you’re bound to fall in love with it. It’s so easy to cool off on hot days in the Badesee Ried and at the same time relax in the pleasant atmosphere. Various games and activities also make the lake an ideal getaway trip for families: Action Tower XXL, lake island, pirate boat, pedal boats, standup paddle-boarding, volleyball and more highlights await visitors. The children’s swimming pool area is home to many attractions for the little ones.

Those seeking relaxation will enjoy maximum comfort in the large sunbathing areas and on the two wooden jetties. And when you start to feel peckish, head over to the Seerestaurant Ried to try various goodies. The little snack shop right next to the lake sells snacks, ice creams and drinks.

In July and August, while away your day at the Badesee Ried with live music, drinks and snacks. Sound good? The event takes place, depending on the weather, every Wednesday from 17:00 until approx. 20:00.

Open-air pools in the Tyrolean Oberland

Pfunds open air pool

At the Open Air Pool Pfunds a 750 square metre solar-heated open-air pool awaits. Whether you’re a confident swimmer, can’t swim at all or just like a little dip: Pools for children, non-swimmers and competitive swimmers offer the right swimming environment for everyone. Beach volleyball fans can let off steam at the nearby square.

Prutz open-air adventure pool

The adventure open-air pool Open Air Pool Prutz entices visitors with its 42 metre water slide, three swimming pools, a children’s swimming pool and a counter-current system. After going swimming, why not soak up the sun and relax in the 15,000 square metre sunbathing area? Whether you’d just like to nibble on something or you prefer a meal, the swimming pool restaurant has delicious dishes and snacks.

Quellalpin in the Kaunertal

The rainy day alternative

With a water temperature of 30 °C, the wellness and leisure centre Quellapin in Feichten is ideal for switching off. Right on Kaunertal Glacier Road, it hosts everything that you might need as a change for a day in the mountains. Simply immerse yourself in a sense of well-being!
